Public Event Performances

You are invited to the following public events:

  • Banjo-Jam-A-Rama - April 6, 7 & 8, 2018
    The Courtyard by Marriott, near Arden Mall and Cal Expo
    THE Sacramento Banjo event of the year! Shows, Bands, Stars, Workshops, Vendors, Jam Sessions! This year's event will focus on participation, with jam sessions every day. There will even be special Ragtime jams with famous Ragtime piano players. Bring your banjo and Jam-A-Long!

  • First & third Sunday Jam Sessions - Our venue for these informal jam sessions is changing. Our next jam session will be held on February 18th at:

    1307 Florin Rd
    Sacramento, CA
    2:00 to 4:00 pm

    This is the same place we met in mid-January for our annual meeting.

    We are still looking for a venue for our jam sessions. Please watch this space for updates. If you have a suggestion for a good venue, please let us know (see the email address at the bottom of this page).

    Banjo players are welcome to sit in. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the music for free. Excellent pizza and other refreshments available for purchase. Fan clips of jams.

  • Banjo-Rama, April 22 & 23, 2017. This year's event washeld at the Elks Lodge in Carmichael. The 4-string banjo event of the year! Shows, workshops, vendors, jam sessions.
  • Sacramento Music Festival - May 26-29, 2017 - Old Town, Sacramento. The Sacramento Music Festival is a four-day, all-day party featuring LIVE music, 100 unique performances, street dancing, animated parades, instruments booming, and great food and drink in an energetic atmosphere.
